Kelsey Shea and Two Guys In Top 30 for MLB Fan Cave

Kelsey Shea Weinrich has made it to the Top 30 of the MLB Fan Cave contest!

She along with two guys, Nick Straatmann of Washington, Mo., and Kyle Thompson of Edmond, Okla., are representing Cardinal nation well!

Nick is quite an interesting character. Here is his video! And here is his blog.

And, Kyle? Yeah…  Here’s his video! Just check out that goodness!

These three still need the help of Cardinal nation!

From Kelsey:

In case you haven’t already noticed…I have made it past the next cut and into the MLB Fan Cave Top 30!!! So at this point, I would like to offer a HUGE thank you to anyone who voted for me, anyone who promoted me, anyone who has ever even thought about me in the past few weeks, etc. I’m pretty sure the MLB was keeping tabs on that, too.

In just 4 days I will be traveling to Arizona for what we think is our final casting! 3 crazy days of who knows what…but there will be blogging, and there will be a heavy dose of – you guessed it – promoting ourselves! That’s right my friends, I’m not done bugging you yet. But before I get into that and what it means to me to be a finalist, I would like to take a moment to talk about our fallen comrades.

I have to say, my happiness for myself was almost outweighed by my sadness for others. Others who I was so looking forward to meeting. This group of contestants has become such a family and each of you has been a valued member…I never thought that I would be the kind of person to have such strong relationships online, but dang it if I’m not a believer now! And I cannot begin to express how much your friendship has meaned to me…Seriously…

One last thing and then I’ll be done with Sentimental Kelsey. I want to offer a huge congrats on great campaigns to Jeremy, KP, and Sam! You guys will always be in the Arizona of my heart (too cheesy? yeah…I thought so.) And a special mention to Mapes. Just because he’s awesome, too.

I cannot believe how much my life has changed in the past few weeks, and it was all on a whim. So I feel extremely fortunate to be where I am today. And once more, I feel extremely forunate to be representing Cardinal Nation. If you want my thoughts on that, you can find them here.

What I need now is for your continued support for myself and all the other contestants. I’m not going to pretend like I’m the only one who deserves it. So please, stay tuned to find out what wacky adventures we have in store for us. And make sure you tell the MLB Fan Cave why your favorite should be chosen!

So make sure when you are on Facebook later, search for MLB Fan Cave, “Like” them and then tell them you want to see Kelsey Shea … or Kyle or Nick … in the Fan Cave!

Go!

Now! … I’ll wait!
