Chances are you’ve heard about last Thursday’s “Stars 4 Baby Reesa” fundraising event to support the friends of Skip Schumaker and their terminally ill daughter. The stories about the evening are incredibly touching — so many of Skip’s St. Louis Cardinals teammates turned out for the event to sign autographs and raise money for Sean and Jamie Stutzman and their daughter, Reesa.

One of the stories I read is from our pal Laura, which she wrote here. She had some great pictures that she took that night as well, and which she was gracious enough to share.

So, for our latest edition of Matheny Monday, a new twist — pictures of the manager and others looking mighty nice, of course, but also showing their caring side in supporting their teammate and his friends.
