Forget The Game, Let’s Watch Wainwright And Westbrook Dance

There’s not much pleasant to say about today’s 8-2 Cardinals loss to the Reds.

So I’ll give you the thoughts my friend Michael emailed me about it:

So what have we learned today?

1) Ah, Jaime Garcia. Nice to see the layoff hasn’t changed you a bit.

2) Brandon Dickson. I had hoped he could someday be a major-league pitcher. Nope.

3) Runners in scoring position in close games or when behind. The Cardinals’ weakness in 2012.

Plus, he sent this (click to see them in action). Isn’t that much better than thinking about the game?

Speaking of Adam Wainwright, he’ll be out there tomorrow to try to get the Cardinals the series win. Homer Bailey goes for the Reds, with game time at 12:10 p.m. Central Time.

  1. I love Adam Wainwright. It’s good to know that there will still be personality on this team after Berkman leaves. (Wonder if his connection to Westbrook helped Mo decide that it’d be good to reup Jake?)
