There are now eight days until the St. Louis Cardinals face the Cincinnati Reds on Opening Day. Since Friday, when the countdown was 10 days, I’ve been posting a photo on the AMF Facebook page with the corresponding Cardinal who wore that number.
So this morning I was searching for a picture of the Cardinals new No. 8, who obviously is Peter Bourjos. And while I have yet to find a photo of Pete that actually shows his uniform number, I have discovered some nice photos. Uh … very nice.
Perhaps you will agree with me, once you take a good look at these. (Yes, you might need to study them carefully.) Here are eight photos of No. 8 — all in honor of Opening Day being a week from tomorrow.
