Remembering 9/11, Eleven Years Later

There are things more important in life than baseball, the battle for the wild card race and Jaime Garcia’s record on the road.

Today, we pause to remember what happened on Sept. 11, 2001 — to honor the victims of that horrific day and, with things so divided and turbulent in today’s U.S. political climate, to recall the unity we felt as a country in the days following.

We also remember Jack Buck and his incomparable eloquence.
